Based on riding skills and typical cruising speeds demonstrated by any NEWT attending a club ride since Aug-13, the following groupings have been agreed by the coaches. This table will be used to set up groups. There will be updates when time trials are conducted around the 'Goldcliff circle' route.
Please note if you attend a ride for the first time you will default at the bottom of this table until you demonstrate your competence to the coaches to ride in a different group

Improve your bike handling skills and confidence, plus triathlon transition skills with our summer sessions Wednesdays prior to open water swimming @ Celtic Manor Overflow Car Park.
A great training practice session for all abilities, regardless of your experience or confidence we can all improve our bike skills to help us remain safe on the road, and to improve quicker and more efficient transitions in a race situation.
6.00pm start (please arrive for 5.45pm)
A 40-45 minute session prior to OW
No booking required - however, please note you cannot continue to participate in OW session at 6.45pm unless you have booked to attend

There are a number of routes we use on club rides, depending upon where we start. Below you will find a few of these routes:
Goldcliff circle (TT used for group setting)
Start in bus stop, anti-clockwise loop around levels, finish in lay-by prior to junction (10km) link
Sycamore Fields Car Park, Magor/Undy
Caerleon, Usk, Raglan loop (34miles) link
Newport Stadium, Shirenewton via moors (40miles) link
